[Perhaps it's personal bias for having been on her own for a few years, but she finds some logic in 'freedom.']

[Freedom... It's something Alcin is still having trouble getting used to. He goes quiet, scratching his cheek as he tries to register this into his mind.]

[He gives a smile; indeed, it is ironic to hear those words from her.]

[The only time Alcin has a chance of being honest with his feelings, he chooses to completely miss the point. He gives a reassuring smile.]

[He looks off tot he side, unable to look at Voile straight in the eye, rubbing the back of his neck. All of the sudden he starts getting embarrassed for no apparent reason; he was just being happy he was able to spend some time with Voile...]

[She wishes she could be a little more oblivious. Even so, she tries to be, regardless of his reaction. Like many, Voile's never liked prying into his emotions or his thoughts, even though it'd be pretty easy to do so.

Alcin, you're sometimes a little obvious.]

You don't need to get so flustered. It's just me, right? I meant that you're important to me. So of course I want to do things for your benefit. I want to make you proud of me. I want to be someone you can look at with joy.

[Oh. Now she's embarrassed, as she shyly rubs at her cheeks.]

Ah well... [He trails off, feeling even more embarrassed and happy all the while. He's happy he's being thought of this much. He gives a small smile as he watches Voile.]

...Just being able to spend time with you fills me with joy.

[Hrk.

That's... stunningly obvious right there. The kind that she can't really ignore or pretend doesn't exist. Well. She could, but that'd be downright cruel.]
