[She's been caught once or twice moving about in haste, and usually when she does, she seems to intrude without much of a regard for other people. Evidently Alcin's no exception.
Into the common rooms she bursts and in seeing him, Voile immediately pauses. Awkwardly. Characteristically.]
...Oh. I didn't know anyone was... Er. Am I interrupting?
[Her posture straightens. She laces her hands together. If she seems shy and minutely meek, it's because she is. He sends her heart aflutter and though she tries to hide it, he knows her better than anyone else.
It makes her nervous.]
No... I had visited to see if Celestia was in here. She was teaching me to play this card game that humans play.
[Her head tips.]
I wasn't expecting to see you... I'm sorry for interrupting your daydreaming.
[He smiles so much and she just wants to redden until her head pops right off. Not that it would. Just that it's a minute possibility with how happy he's often around her.
When she's behaving, naturally.]
Y-yes. [Voile shyly rubs at the bridge of her nose.] She was teaching me this game called Poker, but I don't understand it very well. And I'm not very good at it. It requires its players to bluff and for all of the obvious reasons, I'm very poor at bluffing...
You might be better at it, though, than I am.

What's that? [Sorry, he couldn't catch that mumbling part. But since Voile moved on with the conversation, he lets it be at that.]
Something from when we were younger... [He thinks for a little bit before a smile spreads across his face again, and starts humming some tune cuz Iyo is a derp with music a song both of them would were familiar with.]
She gives him a nod, completely pleased by how he's willing to play along with her requests. After some quiet moments of listening, she wiggles her wrists and playfully dances from one side of his and to the other, all the while wearing a smile.]
My dancing is sub-par. I haven't danced in a while. Last time I did - not counting this time - some boy found me and I got a little embarrassed. That was a few years back, actually.
[Voile beams.] I missed your voice more than you missed my dancing.
I have considered it, yes. But sometimes I think those days are over. I can't be the same Gardevoir I was before. And I'm not sure I have a right to be in contests.
[And she supposed it really had to do with what Phoenix would think of the idea. She couldn't do it without him, after all.]
What about you? With a voice like yours, Alcin, I imagine you'd have quite the ribbon collection. The envy of Pokémon everywhere.
[Alcin draws a small sigh out. It is true, that they have changed, but to him it looked like she still enjoyed dancing...]
Me? I do not know the basics of contests... [He let's a small laugh out.] I only know how to battle.
[Perhaps if someone who he'd recognize as a good trainer who liked contests appeared, he may reconsider. But at the moment, he couldn't even imaging himself being with a different trainer.]
Only battles, hm? Sounds kind of sad to me. Don't you wish for something a little greater? Don't you like the idea of being more than just a Pokémon for battle?
[Perhaps it's personal bias for having been on her own for a few years, but she finds some logic in 'freedom.']
[Freedom... It's something Alcin is still having trouble getting used to. He goes quiet, scratching his cheek as he tries to register this into his mind.]
Hm... Perhaps. It's still hard to completely understand it.
Well, you have seen and experienced a lot more than I have while you attended this school. I'm sure there are a lot of things you are familiar with that I do not know!
[A pause. That's what he means. Of course it is. Hurgh. What in the world was she even thinking? But then she's coming to understand just how slightly tense she is around him.
For mostly stupid reasons - in her opinion.]
Good point. You are most likely correct in that assumption. I will help you out where I can, though I'm sure things will be slightly varied for you, since... I'm not a boy and all. I heard boys and girls process things differently, so as long as you don't mind my girlish outlook, I'm sure I can teach you what I know.
[...She has no clue what she's trying to teach him. She really doesn't.]
[He looks off tot he side, unable to look at Voile straight in the eye, rubbing the back of his neck. All of the sudden he starts getting embarrassed for no apparent reason; he was just being happy he was able to spend some time with Voile...]
[She wishes she could be a little more oblivious. Even so, she tries to be, regardless of his reaction. Like many, Voile's never liked prying into his emotions or his thoughts, even though it'd be pretty easy to do so.
Alcin, you're sometimes a little obvious.]
You don't need to get so flustered. It's just me, right? I meant that you're important to me. So of course I want to do things for your benefit. I want to make you proud of me. I want to be someone you can look at with joy.
[Oh. Now she's embarrassed, as she shyly rubs at her cheeks.]
Ah well... [He trails off, feeling even more embarrassed and happy all the while. He's happy he's being thought of this much. He gives a small smile as he watches Voile.]
...Just being able to spend time with you fills me with joy.
That's... stunningly obvious right there. The kind that she can't really ignore or pretend doesn't exist. Well. She could, but that'd be downright cruel.]
You're... sweet. I'm very happy to be able to spend time with you too. Like... this. It's nice.

...Oh. I didn't know anyone was... Er. Am I interrupting?
[She's totally smooth.]

i still don't know how he should sound sob
Voile~! Nice day, isn't it~?
[He's probably still spaced out, listen how he's mixing his humming up with talking.]
THIS IS WHAT VOICETESTING IS FOR. <3
You don't have to get up! Why not just take it easy?
[And she turns a few shades of pink. He really doesn't have to get up just to greet her.]
no subject
Oh, but I wasn't doing much anyways...! Just daydreaming about the clouds~
[And then he realizes that Voile was probably heading somewhere if she came out into the common rooms.]
Were you heading somewhere?
no subject
It makes her nervous.]
No... I had visited to see if Celestia was in here. She was teaching me to play this card game that humans play.
[Her head tips.]
I wasn't expecting to see you... I'm sorry for interrupting your daydreaming.
no subject
It's fine~! It's always more fun to talk to you than spacing out!
[And then he lets his curiosity speak.]
Learning how to play a card game? [He tilts his head, the curiosity show on his face.]

Poker? How is that a name for a card game to lie?
no subject
[Gosh. Now she feels sheepish.]
I don't really find myself doing human things that often. [She just steals the form for its conveniences and luxuries.]
idk what i'm writing
I see. I guess that'll be a question to ask for this Celestia person, then.
[Well then, if she's out here and not with Celestia, then...]
So since you are out here instead of being with this Celestia, does this mean you are free for the moment?
[Because it's totally time to do some hanging outs]
YOU'RE WRITING BEAUTIFUL THINGS.
Oh... He wants to spend time with her?]
It does.
[Voile beams.]
Would you like to do something?
[like makeouts]
are you sure
and then they made outAlcin gives a bright smile in response.]
I'm alright with anything. Would you like to go for a walk? Or maybe I can sing something for you!
damn right I'm sure
She's unable to hide her surprise.]
You don't mind singing for me?
[True that they were - at a point - best friends of a sort. His feelings always have time to change.]
no subject
Do you have a specific song you'd like to hear? If I know of it, I can sing it for you.
no subject
[But that doesn't really answer his question, does it?]
Why not sing something from when we were both younger?
no subject

And he doesn't. Thank the pokemon gods.
She gives him a nod, completely pleased by how he's willing to play along with her requests. After some quiet moments of listening, she wiggles her wrists and playfully dances from one side of his and to the other, all the while wearing a smile.]
How nostalgic. Some things never change.
[Like him.]
no subject
Some things, like how you dance so nicely?
no subject
[She reaches over and elbows him gently.]
My dancing is sub-par. I haven't danced in a while. Last time I did - not counting this time - some boy found me and I got a little embarrassed. That was a few years back, actually.
[Voile beams.] I missed your voice more than you missed my dancing.
no subject
[He gets a little huffy about it.]
You're selling yourself short! You always performed awesomely in contests!
no subject
[She smiles shyly.]
I'm not a contest pokémon any longer.
no subject
[Alcin frowns and scratches the back of his head.]
...Do you ever consider about joining contests again?
no subject
I have considered it, yes. But sometimes I think those days are over. I can't be the same Gardevoir I was before. And I'm not sure I have a right to be in contests.

[Ironic coming from her.]
Try to take advantage of the loose leash you've been given here. At least a little.
for some reason i feel like this is like a proposal why
I will do my best. Will you be willing to teach me the ways?
I APPROVE OF EVERY ALCIN PROPOSAL.
[She blinks in surprise.]
What makes you think I would know...?

omg
No problem! I do not mind it at all. [Because it's Voile teaching him.]
no subject
[She pauses.]
It's only because it's you, Alcin.

I am making you nervous?! I... I am sorry, I have not been meaning to do that...
